Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of the study module, students will be competent in recommending and categorizing fiction including films, literature and music. They will know how to use them in varous ways and as part of the organisation of various events. Students will also be capable of orgainising various library events in co-operation with various stakeholders. The student is also able to introduce different activities when s/he is working with children's and youth in the library.

Contents

Fiction in library collections as regards work with collections and contents. Various events organised in libraries, Planning and carrying out events. Co-operation with various organisations and stakeholders. Working with children and youth in the library.

Recommended or Required Reading

The required literature, both fiction and theory, will be discussed at the beginning of the course.

Mode of Delivery / Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

Lectures, written assignments, practical exercises, protects to be carried out with representatives of the working world.

Grading will be announced during the course.

Assessment Methods

Writen assignments. Active participation in planning and carrying out assignments and projects.
