Learning Outcomes

Student will learn to use computer programmes, desktop publishing programs, different network services and learning environments. Student will apply their basic information technology skills to new equipment and software environments.

Contents

During the study module the student will learn how to use computer programmes (word processing, spreadsheets and presentation graphics) and how online services can be used. In addition the student will learn image processing and how to make publications.

Assessment Criteria

Grade 5
Students are aware of how IT tools, desktop publishing programs and network services can be used and they understand the operation principles of these tools. Students are able to work independently and apply various IT tools, desktop publishing programs and network services in various situations.

Grade 3-4
Students are aware of how IT tools, desktop publishing programs and network services can be used and they understand the operation principles and application of these tools for personal use. Students are able to use IT tools, desktop publishing programs and network services in various situations.

Grade 1-2
Students are aware of how IT tools, desktop publishing programs and network services can be used. They have basic skills in the use of IT tools.
