Learning Outcomes

Students will learn to name factors that create basic security and factors that cause problems in the lives of the adult population and their close communities. Students will become aware of the social work carried out among adults. Students will learn to explain their values, attitudes and actions. They will be able to define factors that affect the functional capacity and social engament of adults from the perspectives of the individual, community and society.

Assessment Criteria

Grade 1-2:
Students are able to name factors that create basic security and factors that cause problems in the lives of the adult population and their close communities. Students are aware of the social work carried out among adults. Students are able to explain their values, attitudes and actions. They know how to define factors that affect the functional capacity and social engament of adults from the perspectives of the individual, community and society.
Grade 3-4:
Students are able to explain factors that affect basic security, livelyhood and employment in social work carried out among adult clients. Students reflect on the diversity of adult clients' everyday life. Students also reflect on their values, attitudes and conceptions from the perspective of professional ethics. They are able to explain factors that affect adult clients' functional capacity and social engagement from the perspectives of the individual, community and society.
Grade 5:
Students extensively analyse factors that affect adult clients' functional capacity and social engagement. They are able to explain phenomena related to adult clients' daily lives from the perspectives of the individual, community and society. Students look at information and their own observations with a critical eye. They extensively reflect on their conceptions of work, livelihood and basic security. Students are able to evaluate and justify their values, attitudes and actions.
