Learning Outcomes

The student can perform practical tasks in his/her field of study under guidance and apply the knowledge and skills he/she has acquired to practical situations. The student is able to assess his/her own skills in relation to the requirements of the field. The student is able to conclude whether a topic for his/her final thesis can be found in the context of his/herpractical training placement.

Contents

The practical training position must be approved by the degree programme. Practical training can take place either in Finland or abroad.

Assessment Criteria

Pass: the student has carried out practical tasks in his/her field of study under guidance for minimum 720 hours and applied his/her knowledge and skills to practical situations. The student has assessed his/her skills in relation to the requirements of the field and examined the possibility of finding thesis topic in the context of his/her practical training placement. The student has reported the practical training as required.
Fail: The aforementioned criteria are not fulfilled.
