Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of the course, students will:

- be competent in reading architectural drawings.
- understand the basic issues involved in interior decorating.
- know how to compile interior designing plans and specifications cards.
- utilising interior designing software.

- Independent study: 60 h

No previous studies are required.

Contents

- Dimensioning and drawing symbols
- Manual sketching and graphics
- Space, lighting, living, furnishing, materials, user-friendliness, professional drawing, interaction between colours, compatibility of colour shades, relationships between colour surfaces, brightness, decorating spaces
- (Observation, puzzle interview, interviews)
- Basic elements of modelling (Intericad, Archicad, Poser5)
