We consider the level course similar to a middle course level. Students need a general knowledge about marketing subject.

Contents

The objective of this course is providing students with a general knowledge of the basic elements that define the structure of marketing channel when firms enter in innovative processes. When the firm is created or the firm develops an innovative product, it is necessary to design a distribution strategy. We put special attention to the strategic and behavioral aspects. Consecutively, we centralize our interest in the design of a distribution strategy and the management of the distribution channel.
The course involves discussions about the following areas:
- Design and Planning the Structure of Distribution Channel.
- Design of a Distribution Channel Strategy when firms enter in innovative processes.
- Distribution Channels Management.
- Evaluation of Channel Efficiency.
