Learning Outcomes

CLINICAL COMPETENCE

Students are able to identify the need for prompt first-aid and understand the importance of calm behavior in emergency situations. They are able to administer first aid in demanding circumstances and are motivated to maintain their first aid skills and knowledge. They know the plans compiled in collaboration with civil protection and rescue services to ensure health services in exceptional emergency situations.

The course discusses what to do in emergency situations and other exceptional situations, as well as first aid and CPR.

Students
- are able to identify the need for prompt first aid and know how to act in first aid situations and follow-up procedures, while maintaining calm behaviour
- are able to administer first aid, including emergency first aid, in various circumstances and are motivated to maintain their first-aid skills and knowledge
- know the plans compiled in collaboration with civil protection and rescue services to ensure health services in exceptional emergency situations
