Students will learn research-minded thinking for elderly care. They will understand the significance of research knowledge in the development of elderly care. Students will learn to carry out research/development processes and to choose appropriate research methods, paying attention to ethical conduct throughout the research process. They will also learn to report on their study and apply their findings to elderly care. Students will learn to use the SPSS. They will learn analysis, evaluation and utilisation of research knowledge in elderly care. Studens will be able to plan, implement and supervise development projects using their knowledge of development research.
