Learning Outcomes

Student will be competent in applying principles of various methods, concepts and scientific thinking. He understands the principles of qualitative research and is able to implement them. Student recognizes and is able to analyze areas requiring development, and will be competent making written proposals pertaining to those needs. He is able to write a report of a development process. Student deepens his information retrieval skills. Student knows the conventions of academic writing and is able to draw up a research report which meets the demands of the style and the structure. Student has skills for producing thesis.

- Compilation of a development plan: implementation of a development project and reporting about it
- Academic writing: structure, style and language, sources and citation

Lectures and project working

Assessment Criteria

Development report will be graded 1 - 5. Emphasis on guidance and evaluation is placed on student´s skills in choosing the right qualitative method and implement it in his development work.
