Learning Outcomes

Students will be familiar with the scientific basis and purposes of agricultural policies. They will also be familiar with the background of agricultural policies in the EU and understand the international agreement and decision-making system.

- Scientific basis and purposes of agricultural policies
- Agreement and decision-making system of agricultural policies, e.g. WTO
- Agricultural policies in the EU
- National legislation and the EU
- National laws and decrees pertaining to EU funding
- EU forms for applying for funding and how to fill them in (example farm)
- Significance of planning
