Learning Outcomes

The student is familiar with the theory of finite element methods of bar structures. The student knows how to use finite element method in the analysis of bar structures. The student can apply plastic methods for bar and slab srtuctures which base on theory of plasticity. The student knows how to use stability theory to define the critical load for bar structures and slab structures. The student knows the basics of dynamis structures to use as a basis for dimensioning the structural vibration. The student can analyse torsionally stressed structures.

Student's Workload

The student´s work load is 160 h of which scheluded studies 48 h.
