Learning Outcomes

This study program aims coach students that they understand which are the core competences and responsibilities of the financial management. These are related to strategic planning, risk management, capital management, and stakeholder knowledge. This package contains the ingredients of knowledge in strategic planning, concern accounting, financial analysis and valuation. Senior management's core competencies related to the utilization of these different types. If you are acting as an Assistant to the Financial Manager, Financial Manager, or Financial Director, you need to know how to build a comprehensive picture of the parent company's and group level finances and its business environment.
As a Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you will need to respond to the financial management as a whole, and its development. Area of responsibility includes the financial accounting and regulatory reporting, the development of management accounting and reporting, but also the treasury and risk management. You will be responsible for, inter alia, insurance, cash forecasts and cash management, internal services, and leadership. You will report to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and you are a member of the Management Board. You participate in a scheduled regular reporting to the Government, the owners, corporate executives and the head of the unit. If you are thinking to move forward in your career in the financial management of a listed company, IFRS expertise may be of vital importance when recruiting employees.
The studies includes skills, which are important if you work in a small or large company, as well as in managerial or executive positions, a company that offers financial management services, or if you are acting as an entrepreneur, who consults with clients, either in the domestic or international business environment.

Study program is composed of three courses, which are:
Strategic Management Accounting, Consolidated Company Accounts and IFRS, and Financial Statement Analysis and Valuation
