Learning Outcomes

Students recognise the different phases of the research process and are able to apply the basics of research work to their own thesis work.
Students are able to write research text and recgonise the characteristics of scientific text and report writing and can make use of them in reporting their research.Students are able to write thesis abstract in english.

Students can analyse their need for information and select the most suitable information sources. In addition, students know the basic techniques of information retrieval and know how to assess, use and apply the information they found.

Contents

Research work: choice of the topic, research process, methodology; Research writing: characteristics of academic text; Information search: sources of business economic research, use of databases, information search on the web, assessment and application of information, source notations
