Learning Outcomes

Students will be familiar with the impact the climate in Finland has on the need to drain soils and irrigate crops. They will also be familiar with various drainage and irrigation systems and their advantages and practical use in field cultivation. Students will understand the impact of irrigation on the amount and quality of the harvest. They can also utilise related research outcomes.
