Learning Outcomes

The purpose of this course is to teach students about the organisation and implementation of an empirical study. Upon completion of the course, students will be competent in selecting appropriate research methods for their study and compiling a qualitative research plan. They will also be capable of utilising the SSPS programme to analyse their research data. Students will acquire the ability to analytically read quantitative research reports. They will also acquire knowledge of quantitative research methods.

- Acquiring information and academic writing
- Research and the statistical frame of mind: gathering research data, studying statistics, frequency distribution, probability distribution, statistical decision-making, statistical dependence and regression
