Learning Outcomes

Students will know requirements of working life in their own profession. They will learn to recognize their own learning style and reflect on their learning. They will understand the basics of group work and how to cooperate in multidisciplinary and international teams. Students will evolve their own professionalism and professional identity. The planning of learning outcomes within the studies will be done together with the students annually.

Contents

Working life skills in the branch of culture; team skills, professional practices, employment, job applications, and portfolios. Students will consider different career opportunities and develop their own professional identity and evaluate the studies from the viewpoint of professonal growth. They will evaluate own strengths and weaknesses.Students will be familiar with opportunities for international studies. They will understand the factors of occupational safety and health. They will also learn self-reflection skills and methods of target-oriented entrpreneurship. Students will make career planning and a professional portfolio.
Students can discuss and analyze worries concerning their studies and define study plans. They will understand learning difficulties and how to control stress. Students will gain the ability to finish the studies as planned. They will gather study motivation, strength and energy. They will develop social relations and more effective ways of learning. Students will discharge stress factors related to school. They will produce ways of dealing with everyday chaos. Students will be prepared for requirements of the society and working life. They can also benefit study counselling.
Studies include preliminary interview, Personal Study Plan (HOPS) discussions and development discussions within their own groups.
