Learning Outcomes

Students will learn to
• understand what stages post-production involves
• differentiate between editing formats
• edit a video production using the Avid Media Composer software
• implement primary colour correction on video films
• use sound and image effects at basic level
• evaluate the time spent on post-production in relation to the entire production
• identifie the assignments of the postproduction
• use international postproduction software
• search for information about the postproduction about different sources

•planning post-production
•differences between editing formats
• Editing in the Avid MC environment

Assessment Criteria

Grade 5 In relation to the learning outcomes, students have excellents skills, knowledge and attitudes. They are able to independently edit a video production using Avid MC and to creatively use basic image and sound effects.
Grade 3 In relation to the learning outcomes, students have good skills, knowledge and attitudes. They know how to use editing software appropriately.
Grade 1 In relation to the learning outcomes, students have passable skills, knowledge and attitudes. Under supervision, they are able to edit videos.
