Contents

Students will create a module for themselves from the specialisation courses, which will provide them with advanced skills and knowledge needed to work in jobs involving consultation, research, education, agribusiness or agricultural administration in the fields of crop production and agrotechnology.

The module (40 cr) consists of 27 cr compulsory and 13 cr optional studies.The compnd 6 cr of economics. Students may place emphasis on crop production or technology by taking related optional studies and by choosing related practical training place and thesis topic. To ensure the smooth progression of the thesis process, students are urged to decide, together with the thesis supervisor, on a topic for their thesis during their third year of studies at the latest.

The four compulsory courses for crop production - Field Drainage and Irrigation, Diseases and Pests of Cultivated Crops, Grassland Management, Planning and Managing Cultivation (12 cr in total) and Agricultural Technology in Crop Production (6 cr) - are integrated through an assignment pertaining to the planning and development of crop produciton.

Agricultural Financial Management with the Gross Margin Method (6 cr) provides students with insight into how to evaluate the financial impacts of planned solutions.
