Students will learn to
- understand the meaning and objectives of audience development
- draw up a an audience development plan
- recognise various methods of audience development and apply one method in productions
- understand needs of different target groups and define objectives accordingly

Contents

The course will discuss the following:
- audience development; objectives, means, forms
- determining needs of target groups
- drawing up and implementing an audience development plan for a production to be carried out during the studies
- audience-oriented approach, diversity of audiences, accessibility broadly defined

will be announced at the beginning of the course

Mode of Delivery / Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

-Lectures, possibly an exam on literature, work in small groups, field grips, trying out methods in productions

Assessment Criteria

Grade 5:Students understand that audience development is an important part of the production production process. They know how to make use of at least one method of audience development. They are able to plan and implement an audience development project in a production carried out as part of their studies. Students know how to analyse and develop the project carried out.

Grade 3: Students understand that audience development is an important part of the production production process. They know how to make use of at least one method of audience development.

Grade 1: Students understand that audience development is an important part of the production production process.
