Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of the course, students will be competent in:
- creating standardised drawings of parts and assemblies utilizing 2D and 3D modeling software.
- designing three-dimensional models of parts and assemblies and making the appropriate documents associated with them.

Contents

- Principles and main features of two-dimensional AutoCAD mechanical engineering environment
- Bottom Up and Top Down design
- Editing the design environment in Autodesk Inventor
- Designing parts in both 2D and 3D environments

Students are familiar with the standard technical drawing symbols and be able to models.

Students are able to model the workpieces, create drawings and assemblies.
Excellent (5)
Students can do a demanding technical design
