Learning Outcomes

Students will report on and explain what employment and entrepreneurial services involve as part of active employment and social policy. They will evaluate their actions from the perspective of professional ethics. They will become responsible members of a work community.

Contents

- Potential practical placements in agencies of labour administration, in employment training or in other broadly defined employment services.
- Students familiarize themselves with the organisation and its functions (mission, facilities, legislation, services, clients, personnel)

Mode of Delivery / Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

Discussion on study objectives with the lecturer, practical training, assignments.

Assessment Criteria

Assessment pass/fail; Grade 3 (equals pass):
Under the lecturer's supervision, students define objectives and tasks for themselves to gain competence in the area of employment and entrepreneurial services and select a practical training placement, where they can make an effort to put their plans into practice. Students learn to work in a goal-oriented manner and report on their practical training. They evaluate their actions from the perspective of professional ethics and become responsible members of the work community.

The assessment will be based on the objectives as defined in the curriculum and on students' personal interests.
