Learning Outcomes

Students learn education and development psychological theories of the growth and learning of children. Students know the child's development tasks at different age levels and the principles of learning in the individual's development. Students know factors that can promote children's development and learning and factors that can slow down or jeopardise the development.

Grade 5:
Students are able to analyze the factors which influence child’s development and learning by using education and learning psychological theories. They have capacities to analyze child’s development on the other hand from the perpective of regularities of growth and learning and on the other hand as an individual development process. Students have capacities to analyze and justify the factors that can promote children's development and learning and factors that can slow down or jeopardise the development. They are able to observe connections of different factors from many perspectives.
Grade 3-4:
Students have knowledge about key stages of child’s learning and development. They have knowledge of influencing factors. Students have abilities to describe them by using some theoretical knowledge. They have capacities to describe child’s development from some perpectives of regularities of growth and learning. They are able to recognize some elements of an individual development process. They are able to observe connections of different factors.
Grade 1-2:
The students recognize some stages of child’s develoment and learning.
They are able to recognize some factors that influence child’s growth and learning to some extent.
