Learning Outcomes
Objectives: Students will be competent in planning and carrying out a development project, production or study where they combine the knowledge they learned during toeir studies and the needs of the working world. They will be able to compile a research plan or work plan and present and justify the plan and finished work. The Maturity Test provides students with the opportunity to exhibit their skills in the Finnish or Swedish language and how well they know the topic of their thesis.
Prerequisites / Recommended Optional Courses
Students must have at least 180 credits of coursework completed before beginning their thesis, and their thesis topic must be approved.

Assessment Methods
Grading is based on a scale of 1 to 5. Students sit their Maturity Test after the final version of their thesis has been submitted. The Maturity Test receives a grade of pass/fail. The thesis is graded according to Seinäjoki UAS's general assessment criteria for theses.
