Learning Outcomes

Students will learn to combine practice and research in the development of elderly care and work communities. They will approach development as an interactive research and development process, and know how to formulate practicable and ethically sound research questions/tasks. Students will recognize action research approaches and learn to apply some development methods. They will be able to analyse knowledge produced by action research and to explain, evaluate and report on the research process, orientation and development proposals.

- Defining development tasks
- Approaches, process, methods and materials in action research
- Evaluation of development, reporting on the conclusions
