Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of the course, students will be competent in identifying the ways in which children and youth use media. They will be capable of explaining how children and youth produce media content themselves and evaluating the media competence of people of different ages. They will know how to combine media and learning. Students will also be able to distinguish between media protection and media education.

Assessment Methods

Assessment for the course is based on the exercises and group work. Students' ability to perceive the broad entities associated with the theme and to apply their knowledge in practice will also be considered in assessment. Grading is based on a scale of 1 to 5.
