Learning Outcomes

After the course the student is able to list multicultural library services for children and youth. S/he is able to introduce some activities of multicultural services, e.g. story hours or reading circles. The student is able to tell many organizations with whom to co-operate when a library wants to reach immigrant children and youth. The student is able to select materials for multicultural collections of childrens' and youth department.
