Learning Outcomes

Students will have command of the cultivation techniques needed to grow the more common types of crops and know how to make a plan for growing organic crops for a real farm. Students will familiarise themselves with the production guidelines organic crop cultivation and with the required documentation.

Assessment Criteria

Grade 1. The student makes the summary of the cultivation techniques and markets of field crops in the organic production. The student draws up the organic plan according to the instruction. The student will find the most important points in the organic production instructions.

Grade3. The student explains the cultivation techniques of field crops in the organic production and compares different marketing channels. The student draws up the organic plan taking the conditions of the farm into consideration. The student interprets the organic production instructions.

Grade 5. The student compares the cultivation techniques of field crops in the organic production and finds different marketing channels to the products and estimates them. The student develops the organic production of the farm with the help of the organic plan. The student comments on the organic production instructions and adapts them to the practical cultivation.
