Learning Outcomes

The students will understand the complete physiotherapy process, including physiotherapy examinations as part of the clinical reasoning skills. They will be introduced to scientific research methods used for physiotherapy and learn to read research reports. They will know and understand the structure and function of the human musculoskeletal system and know how to assess and analyse posture, movement and fundamental movement skills in a reliable and replicable way, using a variety of physiotherapeutic examination methods. The students will also learn to assess muscle strength and joint mobility and to recognize normal and abnormal readings.
