Finnish students are required and non-Finnish students are recommended to complete a one-semester mobility study period in a partner institution abroad. For a double degree the minimum requirement is as a rule a mobility period of one academic year.
The objective of the mobility period is that the student gets a comprehensive experience of internationalization and has access to the wide course offering provided by partner institutions. The student learns to cope in a foreign environment in practical, academic and social respects.
