Learning Outcomes

Students will learn to
• plan the lighting for video productions
• implement plans for studio lighting and for lighting persons as subjects
• use the special technology required in shooting videos

The course will discuss the following:
• Basics of lighting persons as subjects; studio lighting
• Stabilizers for tracking shots

Assessment Criteria

Grade 5 In relation to the learning outcomes, students have excellents skills, knowledge and attitudes. They use special technology competently in various situations. Students know how to independently plan and implement the lighting for a video production.
Grade 3 In relation to the learning outcomes, students have good skills, knowledge and attitudes.They know how to use special technology. Students know how to implement the lighting for a video production.
Grade 1 In relation to the learning outcomes, students have passable skills, knowledge and attitudes. Under supervision, students are able to use special technology. With assistance from the lecturer, they are able to plan and implement the lighting for a video production.
