Learning Outcomes

Occupational and environmental safety in construction
Students are competent in the issues pertaining to managing construction sites. They know how to draw up a construction site plan and various schedules, also attending to occupational safety. Students are able to prepare site and task-specific quality management plans, including the occupational safety requirements. Students are competent in duties on site as defined by labour protection and occupational safety regulations. They know how to manage the installation of elements and how to prepare an installation plan, also attending to occupational safety.

Competence in structural engineering
Students know how to prepare a plan for the installation of elements.

Competence in the construction process
Students are competent in the issues pertaining to managing construction sites. They know how to draw up construction site, work and work technique plans. Students are competent in preparing various construction site schedules with the help of project management programmes. They are familiar with quality management systems and know how to apply them in construction projects. Students know the contents of the quality management system used by the construction company and are able to draw up quality management plans for construction sites.

Competence in repair construction
Students are competent in the issues pertaining to managing repair construction sites. They know how to draw up construction site, work and work technique plans for repair construction targets. Students are competent in preparing various repair construction schedules. They know how to draw up a quality management plan for the repair construction site and a task-specific quality management plan. Students are competent in duties on site as defined by labour protection and occupational safety regulations.

KC32BR10805 Construction with pre-fabricated units, 3 cr
KC32BR10806 Occupational safety 3 cr

As regards site and production technology, the studies are complemented by Project studies and Practical training.
