Type: Free choise
Level: Master
Credits: 5.0 points
Responsible Teacher: Esala, Jussi
Teacher Team: Esala, Jussi ; Lauhanen, Risto
Language of Instruction: Finnish

Learning Outcomes

The aim of the course is to familiarise students with the concepts associated with the bio-energy sector such that they are able to participate public discussions concerning energy. They will know how to calculate balances and potentials of various forms of energy. Students will be competent in assessing the environmental impacts and applicability of various forms of energy from the perspective of sustainable development.
