Learning Outcomes

Students are able to define the different phases of quantitative research and master the basic principles and methods of data acquisition. They are able to input and handle data by using the SPSS statistical software. Students are able to report the results appropriate way too. Additionally, they are able to interpret their own results, finished statistics and statistical researchs.

- Phases of quantitative research process
- Sampling methods and experimental study
- Measurement and scale
- Making the questionnaire
- Presenting results using descriptive statistics, tables and graphs
- Examples of interdependencies between variables (correlations, cross-tabulation)
- Interpreting results and reporting resuls
- Quantitative data processing and analyzing by SPSS for Windows –program
