Learning Outcomes

Students will learn to apply the principles of high quality home care in the planning, provision and supervision of home services. They will analyse the significance of multi-professionalism in home care, and learn to work in multi-professional home care teams. Students will learn to evaluate skills and knowledge required in the supervision of home care.

Planning, implementation and evaluation of home services for elderly people; drawing up, evaluating and updating care and service plans; evaluation of client-centredness and multiprofessionalism; first line management
