Student health care

In all the localities where Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences has operations student health care services have been arranged in cooperation with the municipal health care services of the locality. According to the Primary Health Care Act (L1326/2010, 17 §), all students are entitled to receive health care irrespective of what their place of domicile is. Health care includes general health care, medical care, dentistry, and ensuring that the conditions in the study environment are healthy. Student health care services are also available during practical training. Health care services are provided by public health nurses, together with a doctor and a psychologist.
