Learning Outcomes
Students will learn the basic ideas behind client-centred rehabilitation and learn to collaborate with other professionals and families of elderly clients. They will be familiar with the entire rehabilitation service system, its principles and services. They will learn to counsel elderly-care staff on the use of rehabilitation services, and they will gain insight into the potential of physiotherapy in supporting functional capacity and in rehabilitating elderly patients. Students will also be competent in counselling elderly clients on the use of physiotherapy services and adaptive aids.
