Upon completion of the course, students will be competent in:
Concept Design
- acquiring information and experimenting based on an idea
- creating structures and shapes documenting the phases of the designing process
- scheduling their work and making work schemes for the production process of a prototype
- time management
- compiling a portfolio based on documentation
- commenting on experiments with materials
Product Design
designing and producing objects based on briefs,
using machines for working with metal and plastic,
selecting appropriate raw materials,
applying various techniques for joining pieces,
working with, shaping and combining various materials,
surface-treating and finishing a product, and
documenting and presenting a design visually and justifying their choices verbally
