Learning Outcomes
Students are able to reflectively examine current issues in society and in the social field, as well as their personal learning experiences. They have developed their argumentation, reflection and discussion skills. Students know how to examine current issues from the perspective of professional ethics and their professional competence, defining new learning and development goals based on the competence descriptions for Bachelors of Social Services. Students are aware of their competencies, strengths and options in career planning. They take into consideration social and professional dimensions of sustainable development. They have learnt how to evaluate value conflicts and seek solutions based on professional ethics. Students are motivated to promote equality and tolerance and seek to prevent disadvantage from the perspectives of the society, individual and community. On the basis of their competence and ethical values, students are prepared to influence decision-making.
