Learning Outcomes
The course provides the student with a basic foundation and tools to become culturally competent. The student develops an understanding of the cultural challenges that multicultural workplaces are facing. The student learns to understand others’ communication styles. The student will gain practical advice and tips on understanding international audience. The student gains cultural sensitivity and competence as well as practical tools to reduce cross-cultural misunderstanding and encourage positive cross-cultural working relationships.

Assessment Criteria
Receiving the credit requires a completion of all course tasks, attendance of min. 50 % of the scheduled studies and a submission of a complete learning diary within the given time limit.
Grade 1: The student demonstrates a modest understanding of cross-cultural issues delt with in the course.
Grade 3: The student demonstrates a good understanding of the cross-cultural issues dealt with in the course.
Grade 5: The student demonstrates an excellent understanding of the cross-cultural issues dealt with in the course.
Assessment Methods
Learning diary, continuous assessment, completion of all course task accoding to the expectations defined by the teacher.
