Learning Outcomes

Students will demonstrate a reflective, development-oriented approach to their work. Students will be competent in planning and implementing research and development activities in the social field. They will have practical research competence.
Students will also know how to report on the research process and how to apply the results to practice.

Mode of Delivery / Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

Introductory lectures, individual small group tutoring, seminars, peer reading, independent work, Maturity Test. The Moodle learning environment will be used.

Assessment Criteria

The assessment will be based on thesis assessment criteria at Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences.

Assessment Methods

The assessment criteria have been defined in the Seinäjoki UAS instructions for writing a thesis. The assessment will be based on participation in individual and group tutoring, active independent work, preparation for tutorials, peer reading, seminar work, the Maturity Test and the final report. Grading 1-5.
