- be able to solve possible problems associated with gluing and surface-treating wood.

- Chemistry of physics of gluing wood
- Glues used in the wood processing industry
- Techniques for spreading, pressing and heating glue
- Reasons for gluing mistakes and testing seams
- Glued wood products
- Chemical and physical properties of surface treatments
- Surface-treating wood and surface treatment agents
- Composition and properties of paints and lacquers, and application and hardening techniques
- Different types of fixed coatings and coating techniques
- Quality control of wood gluing and surface treatment
