Learning Outcomes
Students will acquire skills and knowledge needed to manage elderly care organisations. They will be familiar with the areas of self-management, operations management and human resources management, and able to analyse the significance of these areas to the effectiveness of the organisation. Students will learn budgeting, cost accounting and service pricing. Students will also be familiar with the important labour Acts and regulations, and know how to apply them in management.

Contents
Current topics in the management of elderly care organisations; operations management, human resources management and self-management; essential labour market laws and regulations; structure and creation of budgets; cost accounting and pricing services.
