Learning Outcomes

Students will be introduced to the educational aims of Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences and to the studies and activities offered at the University and at their own school. They will learn about the staff and student support services. They will familiarize themselves with the elderly care curriculum and understand its basis, aims and pedagogical approaches as a foundation for their studies. They will become subjects of their own learning and capable of co-operation. Finally, they will be introduced to sources of information in their future field, and learn to use the PC and information networks as tools in their studies to seek, process and produce information.
