Learning Outcomes
COMPETENCE IN IN CUSTOMERSHIP IN HEALTH CARE
Students will be able to describe concepts related to care and nursing and to analyse nursing from the viewpoint of nursing principles. Students know models of implementing nursing. They will learn to analyse factors that influence the relationship between the nurse/public health nurse and the client/patient. Students will learn to work in a professional relationship with the clients/patients.
DECISION-MAKING COMPETENCE
Students will learn to describe how the nursing process model can be applied as a tool in decision- making.

Total workload of the course 40 hours of which 18 hours in the classroom and 22 hours of independent studies according to instructions

Contents
Concepts related to care and nursing. Principles in nursing. Models of implementing nursing and primary nursing. Professional relationship in nursing.The Roper - Logan -Thierney model as an example of a nursing model. Nursing plan. Structured documentation.
