Learning Outcomes
Students will be able to define the basic concepts associated with values and ethics, and they will be able to apply that knowledge into practice. They are able to independently reflect upon their own values and on the foundations of ethical norms and their application to business operations.

Online assignments and independent study of literature.
Assessment Criteria
1: The student has done the assignments as instructed. The student uses basic concepts of ethics and values fairly well and can apply them. The student's outputs demonstrate that the student is capable of independent reflections on his or her values, and can participate in discussion of applications of ethical norms in business.
3: The student has done the assignments as instructed and the outputs show a good level of effort. The student's outputs show correct and diverse use of concepts of ethics and values, demonstrating an ability to apply the concepts naturally. The student's outputs show that the student is able to independently and with justifications reflect upon his or her values and applications of ethics in business.
5: The student has done the assignments as instructed and well, and shown excellent activity in discussions. The student uses, in his or her outputs, concepts relating to values and ethics well and diversely. The application of concepts to practical contexts demonstrates insight. The student's outputs show that the student is capable of mature and independent evaluation of his or her values. The outputs also demonstrate the abilty to grasp the problematic issues involved in application of ethical norms to business contexts and the complexity of said issues.
