Learning Outcomes

Students will be competent in recognising risks to the environment, which they may encounter in their future profession as an engineer, and the complex relationships between pollution, and other adversities, and nature in the form of climate change and decrease in biodiversity. Students will be capable of examining and applying means to prevent these adverse effects on the climate. In the event such adversities are already evident, they will know how to rectify the situation. Students'’ attitude toward nature conservation and responsible care for the environment will develop during this course.

Mode of Delivery / Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

Independent study in the Moodle learning environment. Group work on given topics and presentations of the completed work together with the members of the group.
