Learning Outcomes
Student knows basic mathematical methods in engineering. Student is able to apply these methods in practical problems he/she encounters when working in branch of technology. Student knows how to gather mathematical information by his/her own and as a group.
Student is able to express steps in mathematical problem solving both written and verbal way. Student masters expression of mathematical model by graphical methods. Student is able to work in different groups and is also able to manage group during the mathematical problem solving project.
Student is able to estimate the validity of mathematical calculations by both approximate and exact calculations. Student knows how to estimate errors included in measurements and he/she also is able to take this account while carrying out measurements.
