Contents
There is an effort to describe social work as a coherent profession, which according to the classical definition is seen to consist of individual, group and community work. Besides this conception of an organized profession, there is also the reality of a number of different areas of practice or sectors. Students are expetected to study literature and to write a six-page essay on the following topic: What similarities do the existing social work sectors share, and what are their differences?
