Learning Outcomes
Students will learn to comprehensively assess and support the health and functional capacity of elderly people and to promote their health in multi-professional collaboration. They will learn to assess home-living elderly people's needs for nursing care, rehabilitation and services, and draw up care/nursing and service plans. Students will be able to carry out common examinations, nursing procedures and pharmaceutical care and learn to use electronic communication systems in home nursing. Students will understand that home visits are an essential, challenging tool in home nursing. They will also analyse the constituents of quality in home nursing and learn to work as gerontological professionals in multi-professional home nursing.
