Learning Outcomes
Students are able to engage professional interaction with client or group of clients. Students are able to assess clients' needs for support and services. They are able to describe a goal-oriented psychosocial and activity-based process and participate in implementation of such processes, as far as possbile in the placement. Students are learned to apply psychosocial, pedagogical and functional social work methods in councelling, activating or encourageing a client, client group or community. Students know how to evaluate the suitability of various work methods from the client's perspective and use these methods to support and counsel clients in everyday life. Students know how to seek information required during the work processes. They recognise professional ethical perspectives in social field work and their individual activities. Students evaluate their action, professional development needs and career planning.

- have competences to act in client-centered and situation-sensitive way and to evaluate the needs of a client or a group of clients
- have competences to councel a client or supervise a group of clients in a goal-oriented way
- are able to describe a goal-oriented work process with a client, to apply it in the field and to evaluate the influences from the situation of the client
- are able to support and to councel a client or a group of clients in their every-day life
- have capacities to evaluate their individual actions from the point of professional ethics
- know how to act as a responsible member of work community

Further Information
- The student, who has intention to work as kindergarten teacher, has to implement one pedagogical practice during the studies. Pedagogical practice means practicing workin duties of kindergarten teacher as supervising children under school age.
